Eco-neighbourhoods: laboratories of the sustainable city

Eco-neighbourhoods are often presented as laboratories of the city of the future – a city, which would have attained a harmonious balance between urban and rural, an ideal articulation between ecological, social and economic aspects. This short article, in a debating fashion, seeks to understand if they really are actants of a change in the urban paradigm or if this new urban paradigm only disguises a return of the same.
