International PhD days of urbanism

These first international PhD days of urbanistic research bring together PhD students from the Institut d’urbanisme de l’Université de Montréal, the École d’urbanisme et d’aménagement du territoire de l’Université de Louvain, the Institut de géographie de l’Université de Lausanne, the Institut d’urbanisme de Grenoble and the Fondation Braillard Architectes to pursue two goals:

• to consider conceptual frameworks, methods and themes towards the construction of a collective understanding of the city and its transformations, planning, governance, etc.
• to question the production of a thesis within the aforementioned institutions in an academic context that is going through significant changes.
